It’s a Wrap! Best & Worst of 2017 – By Genre

I don’t who I am anymore!

Hello beautiful beasts!

Welcome to my fifth “It’s a Wrap! Best & Worst of 2017” Post!

After the theme and premise / topic of interest , category of fiction and age group, I will probably chose a book because of its genre. I mostly read speculative fiction which is…

An umbrella genre encompassing narrative fiction with supernatural or futuristic elements. This includes the genres science fiction, fantasy, superhero fiction, science fantasy, horror and supernatural fiction, as well as their combinations. The broader usage of the term is attributed to Robert Heinlein, who referenced it in 1947 in an editorial essay, although there are prior mentions of speculative fiction or its variant “speculative literature”. But this year I’ve been reading lotsa contemporary books, as long as the theme and premise / topic of interest is dark and edgy.

I don’t who I am anymore!
