#NaNoWriMo2017 is on!

And I’m so psyched! I can’t even!

So NaNoWriMo is on!

And beautiful writing beasts all over the world are typing their hearts away trying to win it: 50,000 words in one month!

AND THIS BEAST, YOURS TRULY, IS TOO!

I didn’t prepped as much I wanted because I got hit by a HUGE project at work last week and by a storm during the weekend… So…. Widespread power outage, no power at home…

BUT

Despite living in this apocalyptic world [just like my novel’s] for the last three days, somehow I managed to finish my characters’ profiles and outline!

AND I wrote my first 2000 words today!

[2041 beautiful words to be exact!]

And I’m so psyched! I can’t even!

Thanks to Mysticsartdesign’s art @ Pixabay I even have a “cover” as an inspiration for this WIP.

I will write this book!

And it will be awesome!

And.. talking about awesome books that won NaNoWriMo… Last week I  I ran into this wonderful post on the Goodreads Blog:

24 Books that Won NaNoWriMo

With National Novel Writing Month starting on November 1, you might be feeling a combination of Rocky-esque determination and sweaty nervousness. After all, this is the month where established authors and aspiring writers alike from all over the world take the challenge to buckle down and pen a full-length novel. Whether you’re a rookie or a veteran, participation is no ordinary feat. The goal is roughly 1,667 words per day, 11,669 words per week, with the grand total of 50,000 words due by November 30.

No pressure.

But before you sharpen your pencils, fire up your computer, draft up your outline, or play The Final Countdown, get inspired with these 24 books that can trace their roots back to NaNoWriMo projects. Not only did books including The Night CircusWater for Elephants, and Fangirl reach the finish line, they reached the pinnacle—publication.

Who knows? Maybe your NaNoWriMo book could wind up on this list someday. Which ones do you recommend? Let us know in the comments!

There are FOUR books that I love on this list: The Lunar Chronicles and First Grave of the Right

Wow if this is not motivation I don’t know what it is!!!

My NaNoWriMo book could be a best seller one day!

I can’t wait for tomorrow to write another 2K words!

What about you?

Any books you love on that list?

Are you a NaNoWriMo writing beast as well?

TELL ME ALL ABOUT IT!

Thank you for visiting!
