Review

The second week of March the weather people forecasted 12-18 inches of snow for our city, schools closed and we raid our local Redbox! 🙂 We forgot about getting bread and milk, but we did rented a few movies  🙂

And this movie and was so much fun, my favorite Ice Age movie by far!

Manny’s family has grown. Everyone is mated [well, almost everyone, because there is always one in each family for whom is more of a challenge to find a mate] and the family’s dynamics more complex and lovable! I just can get enough of Manny’s inner circle. I love Manny! He reminds me so much of our own overprotective B-Dad always watching over everyone!

Remember how the Ice Age movies are all about Scrat, and his acorn?  Well this was one has my the best Scart scenes ever! Just imagine Scart tying to fly a spaceship while trying to get his acorn. So freaking hilarious! And of course he triggers the end of the world! Then it comes my favorite aspect of the movie which is all the science: As Manny and his heard try desperately to survive they learn about magnetism, geology, astronomy, and even rocketing! The science is SO cool! Including a pretty neat animation of the solar system!

AND THE WORLD IS GOING TO END!

And you know there is nothing better than apocalyptic tales! And there is nothing like the apocalypses to bring family and friends together. And there is nothing better than family love tales.

So this movie was AWESOME! I can’t recommended enough.

Thank you for visiting!
