Review

You probably already figured this out…

I say I’m like Maleficent, you know all edgy, dark, and scary … [AND… I AM  people so don’t get fresh with me! 🙂 ]

BUT I’m really like Dory too. Totally clumsy, clueless, distracted and with the memory capacity of a peanut.

Sooooo…  I DEEPLY LOVE DORY!

And I wanted to watch this movie for so long!

So, as soon as it was out for rent, we watched it!

And of course it gave me ALL the feels, especially from scene one with baby Dory.

If there is anything cuter than Dory that would have to be a baby Dory!

Since I became a mom I kinda developed a weakness for cute little things… you know… like babies. SMH! So much for being “tough” like Maleficent, huh?

But, that’s the magic of Disney, you can’t help but be a sucker for Disney movies. And all Disney movies are fun because there is an adventure or journey and obstacles to overcome so the character arcs are fantastic, they all grow and evolve as they learn THE lesson. That important take away that all Disney movies have about bravery, honesty, hard work, friendship and family. Many Disney movies break my heart in gazillion little pieces and then put them back together and somehow my Maleficent heart, 1.5 sizes too small, manages to grow at least one size. So, I get ALMOST a normal heart. 🙂

And well… Finding Dory was kinda merciless because, Dory is away from home, parentless, has a mental disability… OK I’m gonna stop now. I’m getting all emotional and I have a reputation to uphold.

Finding Dory is also a visual feast of colors and beautiful illustrations, especially with the newer animation technology. Holy water… that water REALLY looks like water!!! And of course Disney hires ONLY the best actors to do the voices. And what is better than Disney???? Disney AND Ellen Degeneres! Ellen is the perfect Dory! Well… I AM the perfect Dory but I don’t like Hollywood. 🙂

So I had a blast watching myself in Dory as she stings herself over and over again with the same anemone.

I have to say I love the whole oceanic gang of Finding Nemo but I have a especial place in my heart for Dory, Crush and his kid Squirt.

I looooove Crush and Squirt carefree, laid-back suffer dude attitude.

Oooohhh to drift away in the East Australian Current with no worries. Who wouldn’t love that huh???

What about you? Have you watch Dory? Dude! Don’t you totally lover her??
