Movie Review: Passengers

Because anxious is the new happy, 4.2 stars

About the Movie

On a routine journey through space to a new home, two passengers, sleeping in suspended animation, are awakened 90 years too early when their ship malfunctions. As Jim and Aurora face living the rest of their lives on board, with every luxury they could ever ask for, they begin to fall for each other, unable to deny their intense attraction until they discover the ship is in grave danger. With the lives of 5,000 sleeping passengers at stake, only Jim and Aurora can save them all.

B-Dad and I went to see this movie last week with the kids. I was very surprised to learned it doesn’t have very good reviews. Oh well.. those critics! what do they know huh? 🙂 We all liked it very much!  It’s one of those gripping, anxiety inducing movies like Gravity that reminds you how fragile we earthlings are and how much we depend on technology especially if we ever decided to leave earth and travel the universe.

The premise was very original, the story thought-provoking and engaging, the performances very good, and the special effects very well executed! I really recommend this movie!

What about you? Have you watched it? Did you like it?

Thank you for visiting!
