Because “artisan” means that… casual and nonchalant yuminess.
Another spring grill favorite is our phyllo dough “artisan” pizza. We artlessly top phyllo doughs rectangles with Alfredo or marinara sauce, assorted veggies and herbs and “bake” it on the grill.
We like to top the white pizza with sweet corns and green onions. The red pizza is usually a “caprese” pizza: Alternate slices of tomato, mozzarella cheese and basil.
Before serving it, we sprinkle them with salt, fresh ground black pepper, more fresh green onions or basil, and drizzle them with olive oil.
