This winter the kids learned to skate at the local skating rink. Staking rinks are not my favorite places [brrrrr.. cold! icy! cold!] no amount of hot chocolate could make up for all that cold but I did laugh at lot watching the kids goof around and fall every two steps. It was a great way for them to stay active, for me to beat the winter blues and it was also a nice way to connect with our community and support our local businesses. At the end of the eight week program they were “pseudo skating”. Mostly dragging themselves on the ice. So we are looking forward to another session to finish learning!
